Biosynthesis Pathway Design

CD Biosynsis provides comprehensive pathway design services for synthetic biology researchers around the world to facilitate their cutting-edge research.

Introduction to Pathway Design

Metabolic pathways reflect the chemical repertoire of organisms. The primary goal of metabolic pathway design is to identify possible biological interventions and modifications that can be engineered in the cell in order to achieve the desired behavior. The main design ideas include modulation of metabolic flux, expansion of existing metabolic pathways, and construction of novel metabolic pathways.

In the follow-up pathway engineering, biological data and engineering principles will be used to assemble intricate metabolic pathways and genetic circuits. Finally, the metabolite yield of natural systems can be optimized, or novel exogenous metabolite-producing biological systems can be created.

Service Offering

We provide tailored solutions and powerful tools to help our customers overcome the challenges in pathway design and bring diverse creative ideas to fruition.

Functional Gene Selection

The selection of functional genetic parts is essential in pathway design. Our scientific team can conduct the professional analysis of genomic data through sets defined by functional pathways to help our customers select the functional genes.

Transcriptional and Translational Tuning

The selection of the genetic regulatory elements is another essential step following functional gene selection. Translational and translational tuning can be achieved by altering the strength of the ribosome binding site and selecting several promoters with different transcriptional intensities.

Combinatorial Design

In addition to the functional genes and regulatory elements involved in transcriptional and translational tuning, several other parameters such as origin of replication, resistance cassette, chassis, and growth medium, should also be considered in pathway design.

Experimental Design

Experimental design plays an important role in pathway design. Our experienced scientists can use statistical design of experiments to help our customers overcome the limitations of traditional experiments and reduce the number of experiments to run in the lab.

CD Biosynsis offer a variety of cutting-edge techniques to tailor pathway design services for individual customer specifications. We have an experienced scientific team of biologists, bioinformatics, and chemists to help execute innovative designs for unique applications.

We are also available for on-demand customer assistance via email or phone to help you with any problems or concerns you may have. If you are interested in our services or have any specific needs, please feel free to contact us for more details.
