ADRA1B Knockout Cell Lines

Gene: ADRA1B

Official Full Name: adrenoceptor alpha 1Bprovided by HGNC

Gene Summary: Alpha-1-adrenergic receptors (alpha-1-ARs) are members of the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. They activate mitogenic responses and regulate growth and proliferation of many cells. There are 3 alpha-1-AR subtypes: alpha-1A, -1B and -1D, all of which signal through the Gq/11 family of G-proteins and different subtypes show different patterns of activation. This gene encodes alpha-1B-adrenergic receptor, which induces neoplastic transformation when transfected into NIH 3T3 fibroblasts and other cell lines. Thus, this normal cellular gene is identified as a protooncogene. This gene comprises 2 exons and a single large intron of at least 20 kb that interrupts the coding region. Background

ADRA1B Gene Knockout Cell Lines are specifically engineered human cell lines in which the alpha-1B adrenergic receptor gene (ADRA1B) has been selectively disrupted through advanced genetic modification techniques. This unique biological tool allows for the precise study of the ADRA1B receptor's role in various physiological processes and disease states, facilitating a deeper understanding of adrenergic signaling pathways.

The key functions of ADRA1B play a critical role in mediating catecholamine effects on smooth muscle contraction, metabolic regulation, and neuronal signaling. By employing these knockout cell lines, researchers can investigate the consequences of ADRA1B deficiency, enabling the exploration of downstream signaling pathways, receptor interactions, and the receptor's contribution to conditions such as hypertension, heart failure, and other cardiovascular diseases. The ability to assess how the absence of ADRA1B influences cellular behavior, including proliferation and apoptosis, provides invaluable insight into its biological relevance.

In research and clinical settings, ADRA1B Gene Knockout Cell Lines serve as a pivotal component for drug discovery, target validation, and the development of therapeutic interventions. Researchers can perform comparative studies to evaluate the effects of pharmacological agents, ultimately enhancing the understanding of adrenergic mechanisms and contributing to the advancement of personalized medicine.

Unlike conventional cell lines, our ADRA1B knockout models offer unparalleled specificity, ensuring that results derived from experiments are attributable solely to ADRA1B dysregulation. This precision eliminates the background noise often associated with non-specific cellular responses seen in non-targeted cell lines, providing a more robust and reliable dataset.

The value of ADRA1B Gene Knockout Cell Lines extends beyond mere research utility; they are essential for advancing biomedical knowledge and improving patient care. By harnessing these advanced tools, researchers and clinicians can drive innovation and discover novel therapies for diseases linked to adrenergic receptor dysfunctions.

With a commitment to excellence and a focus on innovative biological tools, our company specializes in providing high-quality genetic models that empower researchers and enhance scientific progress to meet the evolving needs of the biomedical community.
