Description	SNAP-tagged dCas9 is expressed as a N-terminal 6×His-tagged fusion in E. coli. It is an inactive mutant of Cas9 nuclease but retains programmable DNA binding activity. SNAP-tag at the N-terminal allows for covalent attachment of conjugates useful for visualization and target enrichment, such as biotin and fluorophores.
