LPS is the main component of the cell wall of most gram-negative bacteria. It is a highly immunogenic antigen that enhances the immune response to soluble antigens. LPS also serves as a specific mitogen for B lymphocytes derived from bone marrow of mice, rabbits, chickens, cows, hamsters, and humans. This product is a lyophilized powder sterilized by gamma radiation and can be used for cell culture.
