Overview

This product is prepared using a phenol-chloroform-petroleum ether extraction procedure from a mutant of Salmonella species Minnesota serotype Re595. The source strain is ATCC 49284. A unique structure in the lipopolysaccharide (LPS) of Salmonella Minnesota serotype Re 595 mutant can induce secretion and aggregation of human platelets.
