Overview

This product is extracted from Salmonella abortus equi using phenol. The source strain is ATCC 9842. Lipopolysaccharide from Salmonella abortus equi stimulates human monocytes to produce tumor necrosis factor. This LPS also has mitogenic effects on frog and mouse lymphocytes.
