MDFIC Knockout Cell Lines

Gene: MDFIC

Official Full Name: MyoD family inhibitor domain containingprovided by HGNC

Gene Summary: This gene product is a member of a family of proteins characterized by a specific cysteine-rich C-terminal domain, which is involved in transcriptional regulation of viral genome expression. Alternative translation initiation from an upstream non-AUG (GUG), and an in-frame, downstream AUG codon, results in the production of two isoforms, p40 and p32, respectively, which have different subcellular localization; p32 is mainly found in the cytoplasm, whereas p40 is targeted to the nucleolus. Both isoforms have transcriptional regulatory activity that is attributable to the cysteine-rich C-terminal domain. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Background

MDFIC Gene Knockout Cell Lines are innovative biological products designed for targeted gene manipulation, enabling researchers to investigate gene functions and their roles in various biological processes. These cell lines have been engineered through advanced CRISPR-Cas9 technology to create stable knockouts of the MDFIC gene, allowing for precise examination of gene expression, signaling pathways, and phenotypic alterations resulting from the absence of this specific gene.

The primary function of MDFIC Gene Knockout Cell Lines is to facilitate studies into the MDFIC gene's contribution to cellular mechanisms, such as proliferation, differentiation, and response to environmental stimuli. By providing a controlled environment where the MDFIC gene is deliberately disrupted, researchers can systematically evaluate the downstream effects on cellular behavior and identify potential therapeutic targets in disease models.

The scientific importance of these cell lines is underscored by their applications in both basic and translational research. They serve as vital tools for understanding disease pathology, particularly in cancer and metabolic disorders, where gene dysregulation plays a significant role. Furthermore, these knockout cell lines can be deployed in drug discovery pipelines, allowing scientists to screen for compounds that may modulate the effects of MDFIC loss or mimic its function in healthy cells.

Compared to alternative products, MDFIC Gene Knockout Cell Lines stand out due to their validated knockout efficacy, robustness, and the extensive support provided for experimental design. These cell lines are rigorously characterized and authenticated, ensuring that researchers can rely on consistent performance and reproducibility in their studies.

In summary, MDFIC Gene Knockout Cell Lines provide immense value to researchers and clinicians alike, facilitating groundbreaking discoveries in genetic and therapeutic research. By leveraging these advanced tools, professionals can accelerate the understanding of gene function and develop targeted interventions in human diseases. Our company prides itself on being at the forefront of genetic engineering solutions, offering high-quality products backed by extensive scientific expertise to advance your research goals.
